- Hi Guys, Hope everyone is enjoying
the April oops sorry August showers! It feels like April doesn’t it?
Thank God for my sun bed cos I certainly haven’t been able to get out in
the sunshine, and I haven’t got time for a sunny holiday at the moment I
am so busy with my house! But I have had a lovely few weeks.
The biggest thing I have
been up to is packing up my house for my imminent move. I am so excited
about the new place but can’t believe how much stuff little old me has
managed to gather in 2 years since I moved in! At least I will be all
moved in a few weeks and then there’s the unpacking… I don’t know how
the cats are going to adapt to the new house – I know they’ll get used
to it eventually but I might keep them indoors for a little while until
they get used to their new surroundings! They always say that one of the
most stressful things in life you can do is move house – and now I know
why! I mean, it’s not been particularly stressful in the sense that I am
agitated all the time; it’s stressful in that there’s so much to do. I
think one of the biggest jobs (apart from packing that is!) is telling
everyone your change of address and making sure everyone knows. I hope I
remember everyone!
I have managed to get out
and about a bit though! In particular I went to my best friend
Samantha’s birthday night out, which was brilliant. We went to the
Comedy Store in North London which is ace, I loved it! Never been there
before and it made such a change to going out in the West End ! I also
had an ace night out at Pussycats in Telford when I did my PA. I know I
don’t do many of them, but when I do I treat it as a night out more than
anything. The people there were lovely especially the promotions manager
Dale who made me very welcome. The staff were all lovely. I had a great
time and it was nice to meet Andy Scott-Lee properly (it was kind of a
joint PA), as we hadn’t really talked before and also his friends he
brought along who were wicked. We had a great night, and Andy had to
leave the hotel at 6am to head off for more work – rather him than me
after that night!
Last Saturday I went to an
eighties concert in Twickenham with Steve, Craig, Chloe (Craig’s
flatmate) and her boyfriend Luke. It was great fun apart from the rain!
Damn this weather. We danced the night away to Belinda Carlisle and
loads of other cheesy eighties acts – it was a laugh! OK! Magazine had a
nice tent there with picnics from Selfridges and the champagne was
flowing. It was a messy night!
Work wise I finally
finished shooting for the calendar today and I am so pleased. I have new
hair extensions and a new hair colour which I think looks wicked. It
should be ready in a month and I can’t wait. I am so proud to finally
have a calendar – yes there will be a couple of topless shots in there
but literally only a couple. I am going to be so excited when it’s all
printed up. I am having the first copy! Like I said before members of my
message board will get a discount and they’ll also be signed for you.
The only other way to get a signed calendar from me is to come along to
one of the signings I’ll be doing. I am looking forward to that.
Probably won’t be til Oct/Nov time for the signings, but at least then
I’ll be all moved in and can really get into promoting the calendar! I
also shot an “at home” with OK! Magazine last week, and Kinga and Makosi
came over for it. We had a lovely day – we got all dressed up and OK!
brought caterers in for it. I think the pics will look wicked – it’s out
mid September I think but he Unleashed guys should put a date up when
they know when it’s out.
And one week left of Big
Brother. I can’t say I’m going to be too upset when it finishes! I don’t
know what’s happened this year but there’s just something wrong with the
show. I loved last years, and I loved the year Kinga was in it, but this
year just seems very boring. I am gutted Gerry left last Friday – as you
know he was a favourite of mine. So now I hope, and think, Brian is
going to win. He is the favourite and has been for a long time now. He
seems like a genuinely lovely bloke and I hope I get to meet him when he
comes out. Failing him winning I’d love to see the twins win it because
they seem very sweet. One week to go and we shall see!
Anyway guys, I will catch
up with you all soon – hopefully I will have moved house by then!
Take care,
Michelle xx |
